Vendor and Sponsor InformationWhat is “Warbirds and Classics Over the Midwest?” Warbirds and Classics over the Midwest is an annual, three-day event running Thursday to Saturday with open flying on Sunday (Aug 14th - 17th in 2025). The event is limited to giant scale warbirds, giant scale models of aircraft produced pre-1960, as well as any size TURBINE jet with military markings. We believe the key to a successful annual event is to focus on the pilots and make it fun for them. They and their aircraft are what make the event possible. What are the facilities like? Wellnitz field is located 5 miles south of Fond du Lac, WI (population 40,000). The 20-acre site is centered in cornfields and features:
